Moving On

Done at last. The edits for Bound are finished and with my publishers.

I’m getting the feeling that my books are taking longer to write these days. I used to try and average no more than 9 months per book, but the last few seem to be averaging more like 10-11. But then, the last two books have been around 15-20% longer than the earlier ones, so I suppose it’s to be expected.

Oh well. Time to start Book #9.

Love your books! Keep on keeping on, please!

My mom (a painter) had a teacher who once told her that every painting is harder than the last, and one day he would be so good at painting he wouldn’t be able to paint at all anymore. I think the better you get at art, the more difficult it is, and the slower. After all, toddlers don’t struggle at all with their art, do they?

Can’t wait to read it! But I’ll have to because it takes as long as it takes 🙂

I think we’re all content with a slightly longer wait for another top-notch installment.

Just as long as you don’t go all George R.R. Martin on us. 😉

  4. Around when will it be released?

Your books are amazing, I have re-read or listened to the last 3 books several times!! (I buy both the kindle and audiobook version, you deserve it!) It seems as though many good authors take about a year to put out a stellar novel, so you are pretty much right on track. Keep up the good work

I love Alex! I follow quite a few different authors and you’re on par with most of them, in writing and in releasing new books. Oddly enough I found your books when a friend who turned me onto Dresden, turned me on to Alex. Please please please don’t make us wait as long as he is!
