I’d like to promise that I’ll get back to you quickly, but the unfortunate truth is that I often have an email backlog weeks or months long. My writing is a one-man operation, and at any one time I’m usually writing one book, editing another, planning a third, and doing my week’s blog post, as well as half-a-dozen other small but essential jobs that can’t be delegated because I don’t have anyone to delegate them to. Emails frequently fall to the bottom of my to-do list.
But I can promise that I’ll read it, and I almost always respond eventually! It just takes a while.
