On the Mend

Just a short post this week to let you guys know that I’ve mostly recovered.  (I was going to do an Ask Luna, but it occurred to me that it might be a little ominous to give you the news that I did a fortnight ago and then say nothing else.)  There’s a lingering cough and some tiredness, but other than that I’m doing fine.

Work on book #12 is going nicely, and the first draft is around the 30% mark.

Glad to hear you’re feeling better, so I’m glad to get the update!

Speaking of updates, how’s your cat doing? Was he able to make a full recovery? In your entry from March, he looked pretty unhappy to be on mandatory cage rest. I hope he’s feeling better, too.

Very glad to hear you’re recovering! Take it easy and allow yourself as much rest as you need to fully heal.
And I second the request for an update on your cat! I want to hear that as much as I want an update on #12!

Our cat’s much better – at least temporarily. His fractures have all healed, but unfortunately it’s looking like the fractures might not have been the biggest problem – he’s got a heart condition. We’re treating him with some medicine that’s gotten rid of the symptoms, but his long-term prognosis isn’t great. 🙁

Oh, no! I’m so sorry to hear about your cat. 🙁
We lost one of our dogs in March, so I feel your pain.
I wish him all the best!

Hope he gets better with the meds. I lost my furry companion last year due to an undetected heart issue, so I’m happy you have a chance to save yours. I was devastated after he left and vowed never to get another pet. The universe decided otherwise and we’ve been adopted by a skinny wee cat that probably wouldn’t have survived the Winter. They give so much back though, I feel your pain. Love from Christchurch, New Zealand (Yes, I saw Alex when he was hiding out here recently. He wasn’t expecting Maori shamanism to spy on him!)

Thanks for the update – glad that your cat’s fractures have healed, but sorry to hear abut the heart problems. He’s a lucky cat to have someone caring for him so well. Hope your own convalesence continues apace.
