Various bits and pieces of news for the month!
The big announcement (from my point of view) is that I’ve started work on Alex Verus #12. First page is done, which is generally one of the hardest bits. It’s also in all likelihood the last time I’ll ever be able to say that – I won’t be starting any more Alex Verus novels after this. Odd feeling. I’m aiming to finish by around the end of the year, so fingers crossed that I make it.
We also finally have confirmed release dates for the book before! Alex Verus #11, Forged, will be coming out on November 24th 2020 in the US. UK release date should be about a week later, on December 1st, but I haven’t been able to get firm confirmation on that (haven’t heard from my publisher, so I have to pull the date off Amazon). Still, it’s a safe bet that it’ll be somewhere around early December.
And that’s about it from an Alex Verus point of view (obviously there are a few other things happening in world news). Hope you’re all doing okay, and I’ll keep you up to date with anything I hear!
Will Book 11 and 12 be in audio form? My eyesight is bad and audiobooks are the best way for me to enjoy good stories like yours.
Thanks for the update! Can’t wait for the next book. It’s not a good sign when ALex Verus world seems safer and saner than the one we’re living in.

Thank you for your response. You are the greatest. I can’t wait to get 11 and 12. Every time I listen to these wonderful books I always root for the heroes, being Alex and his friends. What a fun series!
While I am sad to see Alex’s story come to an end, I am very much looking forward to the last two books.
I am curious, however. Are there any plans for some more stories or novels in his world? Something that is not from his perspective, but maybe a story with Luna or Variam as protagonists, and Alex only as a supporting character? Or maybe even some brand new characters, but Alex and his people have a few cameo appearances?
Even if his story may be concluded, I feel there are many more stories to tell in his world.

I just wanted to say thank you for such a brilliant and entertaining series…it will be sad to see the last book, but at least that will be next year, looking forward to 11 & 12…stay safe in the current global crisis. Australia has specific measures in place but as I am a person who has to look after my health so I have been practising social d isolation for 10 years and one of my constant companions is your Alex Versus series, especially whilst I am sewing or creating, thank you!
