And here we go again. Alex Verus #10 is underway as of today.
Target date for completion of the first draft is June 2018. Given how late the last one was, I’m not sure if I’m going to make it, but I’ll do my best. I do have a clearer idea of what I’m doing than I did when I was starting Alex Verus #9, so there’s that.
I wonder how many more times I’ll be opening up a new text file and typing ‘Alex Verus’ in the title page? At least twice more after this one, but probably not very many beyond that . . .

Any thoughts you would like to share about life after Verus? Will there be a new series based in the same universe/time frame or are you considering something completely different?

Also: I really hope we get to see a Tech-Mage. They sound really interesting and I’d like to know exactly how their magic even works.
When a series is done, it’s done. However you could write a few short stories. I’d like to hear how Verus and Starbreeze met. Or any short pieces of back story. But finish the series.

I’m glad you feel that the series is at a turning point. Any thoughts of what you do after? A series of shorts stories to show some the stuff in between the novels would be great. I will be sorry to see the Versus universe end. Good luck with book number 10.
