Into the final section of Book #4. About one and a half chapters to go, and we’ll be done.
Sorry that I haven’t been putting out all that much content on the blog for the past couple of months – I’ve got a bunch of worldbuilding articles planned but Book #4 is proving unusually difficult and pretty much all of my energy and focus is going into finishing it. Hopefully it’ll be done within a month or so, at which point I’ll have a bit more free time and will be able to do stuff like write a few articles in advance!
Don’t worry about it!!! Writing novels is your job. 🙂 The blog is awesome and fun to read, but your family and job come first, anyway. I hope you do get a chance for a well-deserved break after you finish book 4. Maybe you could take a vacation!
I agree 100% with Celia particularly about a break/vacation being a good idea – you deserve it!
Not a problem! Myself (and probably most other visitors to this blog) would prefer to see progress on the book. Worldbuilding blob post can come when you have time. The articles about progress are actually very exciting even when the progress is not positive.
Thanks for the update and glad to hear that completion of Book#4 is in sight! I’m sure that everyone (you included) is pleased and relieved (?) at the news! It certainly seems to have been a difficult one for you to pull together.
As regards the world-building, I regard this as a bonus (for my weekly fix) so happy that it takes second place to your book-writing!
