Epilogue Time

Last full chapter of Book #5 is done!  Just the epilogue to go, and the first draft will be finished.

As often seems to happen these days, the book’s ended up a little longer than expected.  I usually plan for my books to run to about 90,000 words, but by the time I add on the epilogue, this one will be more like 105,000.  Still, that’s not excessive, and I don’t think my readers are likely to complain (in the past they’ve typically been much more likely to say that the books are too short).

With a bit of luck, by the time I write the next of these posts, the first draft will be complete.

Super news and so pleas3ed that Book#5 is done & dusted (except for the edits). Even better it’s longer than usual which will be good news for all your fans! Can you predict a release date – perhaps in 2027?

Just wondering what the Good News/Bad News is… Just trust that it won’t impact the current release schedule!
Perhaps a change of publisher (that won’t effect things much for me)? I hope that Will Watt is still around to do the readings and he isn’t the Big Change!
